PTI leader Omar Ayub calls for the immediate release of Imran Khan and party workers

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Omar Ayub has demanded the immediate release of party founder Imran Khan, along with other detained leaders and workers. Speaking to the media on Friday, Ayub highlighted his party’s stance on negotiations with the government, emphasising the need for the release of PTI leaders and a judicial inquiry into the incidents of May 9 and November 26.
Ayub stressed that party leaders should be granted access to Imran Khan, who has been imprisoned in Adiala Jail for several months. He further stated that Khan’s detention is unlawful, describing the charges against him as baseless.
The PTI leader also expressed concerns over the prevailing uncertainty in the country, insisting that stability will remain elusive until the supremacy of the constitution and law is firmly established. He reiterated that Imran Khan has always advocated for the rule of law and constitutional supremacy.
